I am a fearless, business-minded designer with a passion for creative strategy and track record of growing brands through impactful design. I have been a welder in a shop and the leader of a family business that I founded when I was 22 years old.
Simply put: I excel and thrive in the blending of the business and design worlds – it’s a unique, holistic combination and I think you can’t have one without the other. Design of all brand elements and guidelines for my company, Olly Oxen. In conjunction, I have developed and directed the brand strategy and growth for the company.

Chose the name for the company and designed the logo. In 2009, the original colorway for the company was light aqua and brown, which shortly changed to navy and white, with an accent color of red. The tagline of "Classic. Collegiate. American." was an addition to the brand in 2011.

Coded from scratch using Dreamweaver as a platform. Definitely not a beauty to look at now, but it was when I hand-coded it all in 2009!
Completely re-designed the website using a content management system and platform built for e-commerce. HTML, CSS, and Liquid coding and tweaks.
Website is optimized for mobile and tablet views (of course). And yes, that's a hilarious picture at the top left of the Instagram feed... I have a good time doing Olly Oxen's social media.
